Richard Ang is a risk advisory and business intelligence specialist with over 25 years experience in Asia Pacific region. He was previously the Country Head for Singapore and Malaysia of an Asia’s leading business intelligence, risk advisory and investigation group and ran operations in all facets of business risk advisory including background checks, physical security, investigative due diligence and investigations. Prior to that he was the Head of Risk at a regional FMCG group and led operations in risk assessments, audits, business risk mitigation across Asia.
He also led the fraud unit at a regional telco operator and was an Employment Inspector with Ministry of Manpower. Richard is a SPF licensed investigator since 2009, Certified Investigator of Council of International Investigators, and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Richard has an MBA in Finance and studied at National University of Singapore, University of Leicester, Harvard Business School and Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley.
Marc Davey is a risk advisory and security specialist with over 30 years of experience in Asia Pacific region. He was previously based in Malaysia and has had extensive exposure to all facets of business risk advisory including background checks, physical security, investigative due diligence and commercial investigations Asia wide.
Marc was founder of Verify Limited, a leading background screening company in Asia that specialized in Pre-employment, Vendor and company background verification. Prior to that he was co- founder of Hill and Associates, one of Asia’s largest security and business intelligence companies. He held a number of positions including Chief Operating Officer. Marc previously spent more than 15yrs in the Royal Hong Kong Police in Senior Command position. Marc is a qualified lawyer by training.
Lawrence Yee has more than 30 years’ experience with the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and held key positions including as Singapore Police Force Police Inspector, rising to position as Assistant Superintendent, and Head of a key division in MHA. Over the years, Lawrence led operations in intelligence gathering, surveillance, national security contingency and emergency planning, State level VIP protection, security surveys and enforcements, and was involved in key installation security management.
In these roles he developed extensive law enforcement and intelligence network in the region. Lawrence is a Certified Protection Professional, and studied at National University of Singapore, and Home Office Emergency Planning College in York, England. Lawrence is exempted from SPF investigation license in view of his senior career history in various law enforcement agencies.
Aimei is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner with over 20 years experience in corporate fraud and FCPA/Anti-Bribery investigations, internal audit, SOX and data analytics. She was previously Associate Director of Forensics at Deloitte Singapore and in-house Forensic investigators of multi-national corporations including Hewlett Packard, Tyco International and Singapore Telecommunications. Aimei ran investigations across Asia Pacific region (including China, India and Australia) as well as in Germany, UK and Dubai, delving into violations in areas of corruptions and bribery, conflict of interest, embezzlements and other regulatory irregularities.
She also ran FCPA/Anti-Bribery reviews, SOX/operational audits globally, and data analytics programs for audit and anti-fraud detections. Aimei also implemented enterprise fraud risk management programs, anti-fraud maturity assessments and conducted fraud and compliance trainings for employees and 3rd parties across Asia. Aimei is a SPF licensed investigator.
